One could really just download a UV mapping program which does it automaticly. So your right, it's annoying that there's so few retextures.

On topic, i got a few things to say. People mod for games they like to play and mod for. if you want someone to do it for your game, the price needs to be right. This means that many texture artists will like points or something else to be doen for their services. talk to people who are commonly good texture artists.

The reason why people don't skin for this game that much is because of how your game files can't be different from Punkbuster's. So you can really only replace it for Single Player and I don't really think many people care for Call of Duty 4's Single Player campaign enough to make them play it rather than multiplayer.

I think people don't really re-texture them because they are already to a really high standard. It's like the Crysis skins on this website; they are all colour or camouflage overlays.

I love how ungrateful a lot of members are on stuff on this site, You may not like the re-skins and think they're lame, but be grateful that people are doing anything like this at all.

If you want them "RETEXED" I suggest you do them yourselves or pay someone points to do them, don't complain.
